Florianopolis the Magic Island

Florianópolis, Capital of Santa Catarina State and well-known as“the magical island”.  is placed in the  coast and has an insular section (island of Santa Catarina) and the continental one, that was incorporated to the city in 1927, with the construction of the Hercilio Luz bridge  of 820 meters, bound to the Island to the continent and has between 20 and 40 meters high.

Florianópolis is charming and exceptionally beautiful. A modern City, where the new and the old things coexists on a harmonious way. In the Magical Island, people of the four corners of the world live and work ,men and women who once visited the Island felt in love with his overwhelming beaches, lagoons, green hills and nice people (the famous “manhesinhos” of the Island) and never left it since them.

With  a population of 407.000 gathered all around, Florianópolis is a unique place, where it is difficult to choose among the prettiest beach, the lagoons or the most beautiful towns. Floripa, as affectionately they call it, enchants in such a form to the tourist that very often they do not return and end up living in that paradise, with more than 100 different beaches  to enjoy.

Most people are blonde here because Florianopolis and the whole state got a lot of German Inmigration after the wars, so their people has an interesting mix of colors, very particular from the rest of Brazil.

Besides being the State Capital, a city  with excellent infrastructure, leisure, tourism, commerce and services, is one of the best options for investors. Florianópolis unites in its innumerable districts and beaches, like few places do, the modernity and the nigth life of the big cities with the tranquillity of a fishermen's town.
